The Whitney Laboratory for Marine Bioscience
Sea Turtle Hospital patients Zero and Luca returned to their ocean home on April 17. Both turtles had several months of rehabilitation at Sea Turtle Hospital at UF Whitney Lab.They were released at River to Sea Preserve (Marineland Beach), directly across the street from the Whitney Laboratory. They were accompanied by two long-time volunteers Wendy and Taylor and wonderful sponsor families of "Zero". It was a beautiful day at Marineland Beach. A huge thanks to our sponsors for the continued support the Sea Turtle Hospital's patients. We look forward to more releases in the years to come.
